Daniel Blomquist
I have focused most of my academic and professional career on how to create business opportunities through IT, primarily in a start-up environment. Before joining Creandum I spent 7 years being part of building an international software company called Ascade, which was great fun, hard work and extensive travelling around the world.
In August 2007, I joined Creandum where I work with investments primarily in software and IT. Having worked and lived in North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia, I can bring some hard earned experiences about internalization and software commercialization.
I am also involved in an entrepreneurial initiative at Stockholm School of Economics called the Entrepreneurship Forum where we promote and stimulate entrepreneurship through inviting entrepreneurs for presentations, discussions and debates. Speakers have included Mattias Miksche from Stardoll, Hjalmar Winbladh from Rebtel and Johan Ihrfelt (Spray and O2 Vind).
On a personal note, I live in central Stockholm with my fiancée and favourite interests include travelling, skiing, film and music (check out my Spotify Favorites list - I’ll try to keep it updated on a regular basis. I have also gathered my 15 favorite tracks + 5 Swedish from 2009).
